Ben is a Los Angeles based director who produces, shoots, and edits motion pictures (a literal term) of all different shapes and sizes for a living.  He loves working with creative people, and doing things that broaden his perspective of the world and the people in it.  If you have a story to tell, or content that needs to be created, he'd love to hear from you.

In 2014 The KOR Group (Viceroy Hotels) hired Ben to provide cinematography, editing, and documentary production for a variety of projects related to the launch of their new luxury boutique hotel brand: Proper Hotels.  

KOR will be opening the first Proper Hotel in San Francisco in late 2015, with locations in Hollywood, Downtown LA, and Austin soon to follow in 2016.

Schuff Steel is one of the largest steel companies in the united states.  In 2016 they invited Ben over to their project at the new Wilshire/Grand plaza in downtown LA, to capture the ceremonial beam-topping that commemorates an accident-free completed structure.  It's an impressive feat considering that a project the size of the Wilshire Grand employs over 1,000 workers on-site on a daily basis, and took over three years to complete.  It is now the largest structure west of the Mississippi.

Rosewood Pantry is an artisanal bakery that is serious about family history.  Founder Suzanne Shpall adapts old family recipes into delicious, gluten-free cookies and candies that can be found in the coolest eateries all over Los Angeles.  This brand video shows just what makes RP so special.

In 2014 Shriners Children's Hospital Los Angeles hired Ben to produce ongoing documentary work about the doctors, patients, and practices that make Shriners one of the most outstanding medical providers for children anywhere.  Shriners provides vital and life-saving procedures to children around the globe, regardless of their ability to pay.

In Honor Of is a brutal story of betrayal and false honor, as a young woman prepares to pay the ultimate price for violating her family's twisted moral order.

A campaign video for the Hellenic Initiative.

The Hellenic Initiative is a global, nonprofit, secular institution whose vision is to mobilize the Greek diaspora and philhellene community to invest in the future of Greece through programs focused on crisis relief, entrepreneurship, and economic development.  To date THI has raised over $18 million to this effect.

Kismet is a fictional women's brand inspired by the notion that vulnerability is not a sign of weakness, but a pathway to greater strength, beauty, and spirituality.

Avalon Organics' is the standard-barer in organic personal care.  With an extraordinary range of certified organic new and improved products that are inherently pure and safe, it is their mission to provide products that are the most safe and effective in existence.  

Avalon hired Ben to produce this piece to introduce their new product line via digital display at every Whole Foods in the country.

Flowcharts is a documentary series (in development) that illuminates the pathways that different young creators have taken to actualize lives of their own creation, outside of more "normal" mainstream causeways.  

The mission of the show is to show the audience that imagination is alive and well, and that in the milieux of contemporary society, it is possible to create your own love, manufacture your own meaning, and generate your own motivation.  It is a testament to the spirit of individuality, creativity, and self-actualization.

Gilbert Chagoury is an independent couturier whose designs have graced the red carpets of awards shows, galas, and style magazines such as Elle, Glamour, and Harper's since 2008.  

In 2013 Gilbert commissioned Ben to premiere this film as a visual introduction to his show at Palm Springs Fashion Week.  

From bespoke originals to his pret-a-porter collections, Chagoury creates pieces that are eminently wearable, yet intrinsically flattering, while maintaining an unwavering focus on his customer's satisfaction.  He honors each of them with highly personalized service, offering one-on-one consultations where his expertise and exacting standards combine to reflect the spirit of the wearer.
